Riley Carnall (15yrs 54.4kg) had his debut junior fight on the Weoley Castle show on Sunday. He fought a local fighter Rio who was slightly taller a little bit more experienced and couple of kilos heavier at 56.7kg.
The fight was close and both fighters worked well. Rio was a bit stronger in the clinch using this to his advantage in the early rounds. Riley started to come back in the last couple of rounds using his teep and strong leg kicks to his advantage. Riley just lost on points and it was an excellent first fight and he’s looking forward to his next one already.
