The first round was a steady exchange of techniques, Konate throwing a few head kicks looking for a first round stoppage and the 20,000B bonus!! Roo’s defence and footwork was too sharp and caught one and put Konate to the floor. Roo landed great teeps to the body with good body and leg kicks.
In the second round Roo caught Konate on the temple with a solid step through straight elbow which visibly shook him. Moving forward Roo waited patiently for another opportunity and landed a sharp right elbow followed by a beautiful short sharp cross right on the button sending Konate to the canvas.
