Hello everyone.
Just to let you all know James has been discharged from the hospital yesterday and they are pleased with the progress. The anti viral medication is definitely working and although he is still in pain and discomfort he is improving daily and more importantly there is no permanent damage to his eye, thankfully.
He is still coming to terms with what’s happened and at times just feels numb but accepts ‘shit happens’ and sometimes we have no control of our destiny. He is focusing on his recovery and moving forward. His lovely wife, Acen and his mum have flown in to be with him.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get a match for Roo in Bangkok but I have managed with the help of Maenam Muay Thai to get a fight for him on Koh Samui. He will be fighting on Friday at Samui International Stadium against a young Malaysian Champion who has had much success in IFMA tournaments worldwide and in Thailand. It will be a good test for Roo who is dedicating this fight to his cousin/brother James. š„°
