Lithuania 2-6 November 2024
Roo March-Mullaney 16yrs, Franky Sandor 14yrs, Jan Tancos 17yrs are travelling to Lithuania on Thursday to compete as part of the GB Muay Thai squad in an international Muay Thai event called the Baltics Open. James Ogden will be accompanying them as a GB coach.
There will be the best fighters from all around the Baltic region including Europe, all competing for bronze, silver and gold medals.
These events are self funded and the gym has contributed over £1,000.00 towards the trip with local businesses and individuals sponsoring the remaining expenses.
We would like to thank Burrows Motor Company who have sponsored Franky, Old Number Eight Tattoo Studio, Parkgate, Rotherham has sponsored Roo and Jan has been sponsored by a kind anonymous individual.
We wish them the best of luck and will keep you updated on their performance.
Changes to class timetable…….
Due to the above event and staff holidays we will have to cancel the following classes on Sunday 5th November……….
Junior class 10am
Open session 11am
Open Session Week 6-10th November
Due to popular demand we are re introducing our session weeks once every 2 months. Open sessions allow any student to train independently alongside all other students. You have the option to do bagwork or partner up with someone to so some padwork. (please note students are not allowed to spar in these sessions). Our beginner classes Monday to Thursday and our junior classes will still run as normal.
Monday 6Nov: 5-8pm
Tuesday 7Nov: 6.30-8pm
Wednesday 8Nov: 5-8pm
Thursday 9Nov: 6.30-8pm
Friday 10Nov: 5-7pm.
Lockers
Lockers must be emptied by Sunday 19th November. Any items left after this date will be recycled or disposed of.
Water Bottles
We are now in possession of 36 water bottles!!!! Some are very expensive ones BUT we cannot keep them………soooo come and get your water bottle by Friday of this week before we recycle them all.
