European Championships – Turkey
We arrived safe and sound last night after a long day of travelling.
We are staying in the Grand Hamit Hotel along with athletes from France and Portugal. Here’s the UK team with Roo hiding behind Franky on the far left….
The venue is a big sport centre with two boxing rings and tiered seating all around.
Roo and Franky are suitably nervous but looking forward to it. We have registration and opening ceremony tomorrow with fights starting on Thursday (Franky’s birthday 🎂 but no cake!!!)
Upcoming Show
This is a charity show in aid of Cancer Research. We have Leon, Kyle, Adnan, Joe, Andy and Danny competing. More details of tickets and matches to come soon.
Team Sparring Event
So many students enjoy our in-house Team Sparring events, both participants and spectators. Appreciating how much they benefit the development and morale of our students our next event will be Friday 19th May.
Remember any graded student may enter adult and junior and everyone gets a medal. If you missed out last time then let Trix know.
