Group Grading 29.01.2023
The times will be published on Thursday and a hard copy placed on reception. The first group will commence at 12 noon due to classes in the morning. Please make sure you have read our ‘rules and conduct’ sheet so you understand what is expected.
IFMA European Championships
Roo March-Mullaney and Franky Sandor, two of our junior fighters have been invited to represent the UK in these championships in Turkey from 20th February – 1st March.
These events are self funded and we are doing some fundraising events at the moment to try and meet the cost of £1500 PER athlete. We have raised £830 so far so we have some way to go. With parents and the gym contributing we are hoping we can cover the costs of at least one and fingers crossed both athletes. I (Trix) will be going as a coach and paying for myself.
Darren’s 12 hour padwork challenge
Students are invited to do padwork with Darren on Sunday 12th February at £3/round. You can book rounds with Darren on the booking sheet on reception. Donations are welcome from anyone else not doing the padwork rounds.
Team Sparring 17.02.2023
We have a Team Sparring event scheduled for Friday 17th February 6-9pm. This is open to all graded students and is £8 to enter and spectate. The names list is on the fire bell outside gents changing room.
Water Bottles
We have collected 20+ water bottles in the left water bottle box in reception. We CANNOT keep these bottles indefinitely so if you’re missing one please have a look. They will be given away or disposed of if not collected by the end of the week.
