46 WickerCamp students in Thailand!!

Our first week has gone very well and we’ve been busy busy. Our students have made us proud by getting stuck into training from the very first day we landed!!

Training at Sangmorakot and Rithirit gym in Bangkok for the first few days and after travelling by overnight train and ferry to Koh Samui with our good friends at MaeNam Muay Thai.

We did have 4 fighters competing at Petchbuncha Stadium but sadly Leon has picked up a foot injury and after visiting the physiotherapist has been advised not to fight.

We are all disappointed for him but his long term fighting health is priority and we hope he makes a full recovery for the September show in Barnsley.

This leaves Franky fighting tonight and Roo and Oceane fight on Saturday all at Petchbuncha Stadium.

Franky’s opponent is from Nepal and has had a few fights in Thailand but this is his first time in Samui.

He is ready and really excited to fight for the first time in Thailand and has been training very well.

You can watch the fight live on Petchbuncha Stadium fb page or youtube. He is the last bout number 6 so tune in from 4.30pm UK time to catch the live action.
