Elite Results This was Zubairs first fight. It was matched at 69kg which is heavier than we wanted but it was the only one they had. It was a very good performance and he used his footwork very well and had a higher work rate than his opponent scoring well with his leg and body kicks. Jai Yai Promotion Birmingham Roo vs Bahaz 67kg This was an exciting clash of two very different styles. Bahaz, a very tough older resilient fighter with heavy hands and a relentless come forward style against Roo, an elusive style with good timing and countering and accurate elbows. It was an even start with both fighters scoring well. Roo used his footwork well to evade Bahaz's hands but he got through with some heavy shots. Roo landed a great left head kick and right hand.

What a fantastic weekend of Muay Thai in Opatowek, Poland. Our team did very well gaining valuable experience and bringing home 2x 🥉 medals, 4x 🥈 medals and 1x 🥇 medal. Roo just lost on points in semi final against Lithuanian Champion. Really good close fight but at 71kg opponent was a bit stronger and sharper.
